TRAMONTI

TRAMONTI documents my friend Giovanna’s family property and business that is severely threatened by the current pandemic. I traveled to Bogota, Colombia in 2014 and 2018 after generous offers of hospitality from Giovanna and her family. When I was offered the opportunity to be a guest at Tramonti’s 40th anniversary party I asked if I could photograph some of the people that work in the magical place that was hand built into a mountain by Giovanna’s father and is now run by her sister, Angela, and mother, Beatriz. They allowed me to photograph almost everything the whole time I was there.
